FAQ
How does the new patient visit work?
During your initial visit, we’ll have an in-depth consultation and exam, where we’ll discuss your medical history and current symptoms. Please ensure that your paperwork is completed before your appointment, as it allows us to make the most of our time together.
How do I fill out the paperwork?
You can download the paperwork from our website, fill it out on your computer, and email it to us at frontoffice@drdylanmiller.com. If you prefer, you can print the forms, fill them out by hand, and bring them with you to your appointment.
How long does the assessment take?
Your initial New Patient Exam and Consultation will take approximately 45 minutes. Follow-up exams are typically around 15 minutes.
What is the average length of a treatment plan?
Our treatment plans are designed to eliminate symptoms as quickly as possible by balancing multiple body systems. Achieving and maintaining this balance is key to the healing process. For chronic conditions, it usually takes 3 to 6 months for significant improvements or for the condition to become manageable with a minimal ongoing supplement protocol.
How long until I experience health changes?
The timeline for health changes varies based on the complexity of your condition. Some patients notice improvements in days, while others may take weeks or months. Dr. Miller uses a specialized system to measure your vitality and track your response to treatment.
What is Applied Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology (AK) uses muscle testing to assess the body’s structural, chemical, and emotional balance. By understanding how your body compensates for imbalances, Dr. Miller can prioritize your treatment program and track your progress. This approach helps restore homeostasis, or balance, within your body, leading to the resolution of symptoms and overall improved health.
